This one's called Exporting Nepotism. Uses the VSTis Poizone and Vanguard. Composed in FL Studio. Includes a sample from Austin Powers/Goldmember, where Goldmember, in his funny Dutch accent goes "Welcome to 1975 Austin Powers and father". I don't really know how to classify the music, but I'd say its somewhere between Goa, old school dance and house - I just call it "techno". Unclassifiable techno. Like Underworld. Or CJ Bolland? Been a while since I posted a mashup. This one pits two great British acts, and might I say, both have dance-rock allegiances.

I find ufology fascinating, and tend to swing between the extremes of fanatical believer and die-hard skeptic. Here's a little something that makes use of my favorite preset on the Novation V-Station softsynth/VSTi, and samples Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, JFK, and Star Trek.

Man, we've all heard of Israeli armymen tripping on acid, at full moon parties in Goa and elsewhere. But what about the friendly boys from o'er the fence - the Hamas, the Hezbollah etc., huh?



This one's for fans of Arabian techno, Arabian breakbeats, and everything else that even remotely resembles the sound I'm blabbering about. I call it "Hezbollah Raver". Sounds like Muslimgauze on ecstasy. Or a really crappy Gigi D'Agostino mix. Listen, or download free mp3, girls and boys.

9 Years On [Music Release]

After the recent mashup overdose, I'm back to my beloved FL Studio, tweaking and releasing tracks that were probably ready to see daylight a few weeks back. This particular track's been under composition for a little over 2 months. I can't seem to decide what genre it fits into, and whether its even ready to be published, but hey, can't be buggered working on it anymore. Its meant for someone I hadn't seen in almost a decade. I call it "9 Years On", and it probably sounds like the Crystal Method meeting some Nordic ambient outfit. Listen here, or download free mp3.

Y'know what I'd really like to do next? Work with a vocalist and a graphic designer. Collaborate. Maybe even join hands with a master-tweaker, as I focus on composition.

In other news, my car's written off thanks to a recent accident, and I now own a brand new second hand Honda Civic. Also went and saw Borat last Saturday, which was a big letdown. All the gags are on the TV adverts for the flick, which basically means you've seen it all before you've even seen it. I used to be a big Borat fan when it was a little skit on Ali G - and maybe that's how it should be. 80 odd minutes of this guy put me to sleep.

Astral Intervention (Visions of Kali Edit)

Like my old friend Feldfunker, I've come to the conclusion that my first release of any track is the shittiest. Which is why I give every single an "edit"/"mix" co-title. Please expect re-releases as and when I manage to make the sounds blend better.



This one's called "Astral Intervention" (no relation to the great goatrance outfit, Astral Projection!). A faux diamond. Needs a bit more work, but hey, my job is composition - somebody else can do the mixing. That's the lazy man's attitude. The track goes out to my brother.

We invoke Ma Kali for two reasons here - one, because this is an offshoot of a stagnant project, and two, because I believe those charlatans posing as astrologers need to feel the power of the Mother.
